Homework is set in an age appropriate way with regard to timing and content. Eg: Nursery children may be asked to find an object at home beginning with their sound of the week, a Year 6 child may have a 40 minutes maths worksheet consolidating learning from the day.
We strongly believe that work undertaken at home not only helps consolidate our children’s learning, but helps them to develop the skills needed for independent learning in the future. It also helps us to communicate with our parents what their child is learning. Tea and Prep provision is offered after school under the guidance of our teachers and Chromebooks are used in combination with Google Classroom to share work with our pupils and information with our families.
