Year 2 had a fabulous trip back in time at the Russell Coates museum. They learnt all about Christmas in the Victorian times and wowed the staff with their singing of ‘Stille Nacht’. What a wonderful morning!
All of our children in Kindergarten (aged 3) through to Year 3 (aged 8) performed to not one, but two packed houses on Friday! They were absolutely amazing. The singing, dancing and acting was out of this world and I couldn’t be prouder of them.
Our Choir had a fantastic time singing to the residents of a local residential home. They sang beautifully and it was wonderful to hear the audience joining in. It certainly made us all feel very festive.

The children in Lower School have loved painting trees using autumn colours. They enjoyed mixing the colours and using sponges, brushes and their fingers (!) to paint.
Everyone in school took part in a collaborative Art project to make a set of wings. Everyone coloured and decorated a feather adding a wish for the year ahead. These have been brought together as a beautiful set of wings and put up in the Library. When you visit our library why not stand in…
Today, we have been holding our Autumn Festival. Everyone came dressed up and we have had a craft filled day. All the children visited each of the teachers and have enjoyed 7 different craft activities! There has been so much fun and everyone has had a great day.
Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed starting their new DT project: How cool is your drink? After looking at what is used to make a variety of soft drinks, there was enough time to taste some samples. Tomato Juice and sparkling water provoking some great reactions in the children.
