Today was the first day of our Weekly Wednesday Skipping Challenge. Our Year 5 children were the first children to give it a go! All of the children from Year 1 and above will be getting their own skipping ropes and hopefully by half term, we will have a school full of very fit, talented skippers!…

We welcomed all of our children back into school today! It has been wonderful to see all of our children and their beaming smiles. The school has been buzzing with laughter and their contagious energy which we have all missed so much! I think we will all go home smiling tonight.

We enjoyed celebrating the festive season with a delicious Christmas Dinner.

Our Knitting and Stitching group have been very busy. They are very proud of these magnificent scarves!

This half term our Year 3 & 4 children have been very excited to learn British Sign Language (BSL). George Raggert from Wiltshire and Dorset Deaf Association has been working alongside the children, teaching them how to ask and answer basic questions about themselves. They have learnt how to sign colours, foods, animals and family…

All of the children in Upper School had a fabulous day out at Kidzania. Not only was it great fun trying out lots of occupations in their own ‘town’, but they also got hands on experience of earning, saving and spending money! Great PSHEE learning and amazing fun all at once.

The children had a fabulous time at Bournemouth’s Chocolate Boutique Hotel. They have been learning about ‘Chocolate’ and enjoyed finishing their topic with some tasty, hands-on learning! They discovered what cacao beans look like, how many are needed to make one chocolate bar and the different stages of creating their own. What a fun morning!

Always a favourite! We celebrated Green and Groovy Day and raised over £300 for our local Macmillan Charity. The children had fabulous fun dressing up in green  – we even had some green hair! Using the very generous donations from parents, Year 6 ran a cake store and we all enjoyed buying (and eating) some…

On Tuesday 26th June 2018, we held our annual French Day. Children and staff all dressed in red, white or blue, or an outfit that evoked France. The children enjoyed a morning filled with various French activities and in the afternoon enjoyed a French pique-nique together, tasting a whole variety of French delicacies. Merci Mme…
