Last week our Year 6 class enjoyed an exciting week at the Marwell Activity Centre. They had an amazing time and the children all had fun trying many new activities. During the week, they rode quad bikes, paddled canoes, jumped onto a trapeze, experienced the high ropes course, tackled the assault course, left their tummies on the giant swing and had an incredible time!
They ate well, played hard and had fun getting to know one another even better. They faced their fears, supported one another and showed aspects of their personalities that are not often seen in the classroom. They were fabulously behaved and were a credit to themselves, the school and their parents.
Year 6 shared some of their adventures with the school this morning in assembly. They did a fabulous job of giving us a taste of the week without giving too much away! Hopefully it will have whetted the appetite of those children in the younger years for what lies in store in Year 6!
